For years, I believed my life would begin after my body was “finished.” I kept waiting for a perfect moment that never came — waiting for surgeries, waiting to feel safe, waiting to feel whole. But the waiting became its own trap.

I realized I didn’t need to wait to reclaim my body. Fitness became a radical act of self-preservation — a way to build strength, autonomy, and trans joy in real time.
