The Body Log
A record, not a scorecard.
The Body Log connects the writing to the chapter it came from. It is where I record changing goals, the movement I am exploring, and selected observations I choose to make public.
Current chapter: a wider practice.
DIRECTION SET / OCTOBER 2026
I am shifting from a hypertrophy-centered approach toward running, yoga, mobility, recovery, and maintenance strength. I am also planning for surgery as part of my transition.
The questions for this chapter are not only about size or weight. They are about how I want to move, what I want to sustain, and how the practice can adapt.
What belongs in the log.
A useful entry gives a date, a goal, the relevant context, what I observed, and what I decided to change. Some entries may include a training record or measurement. Others may be about rest, body image, or learning that a plan no longer fits.
Earlier chapters remain visible.
My earlier writing belongs here, including the 6-Week Check-In published in December 2025. Keeping that record does not make it my current routine. It makes the change in direction easier to understand.
What this record cannot prove.
My experience is not a controlled study. A change in a measurement does not establish what caused it, and a result in my body does not predict a result in yours.
I will share selected records rather than an open medical file. Private details, other people's information, and exact training locations do not need to be public for the story to be honest.
