An introduction
Fitness through transition, without a finish line.
TransSculpt follows the relationship between my transition and my physical life. It began with building strength and shape. It now includes running, yoga, mobility, surgery, recovery, and the work of adapting when my priorities change.
Start with the story.
The beginning was not a finished body or a perfect routine. It was the decision to stop putting life on hold until I felt ready. The original essay, Why I Trained Through My Dysphoria Anyway, is the starting point for this project.
Understand the new direction.
TransSculpt 2.0 is not a rejection of strength training. It is a wider definition of what I am training for. Strength remains part of the practice, alongside endurance, range of motion, recovery, and the freedom to change the plan.
Follow the part that meets you where you are.
For training and changing routines, begin with Movement. For preparation, healing, and returning after time away, read Surgery & Recovery. For hormones, body composition, and body image, explore Body & Transition. For the chronology behind the writing, open the Body Log.
Know what you are reading.
A personal account describes my experience. A research note considers published evidence. A training note records a practice in a particular context. Those are different kinds of writing, and I want the distinction to remain visible.
The site is not a personalized training or surgical recovery plan. My body, priorities, access to care, and medical instructions are not interchangeable with yours.
