About the project
I am Kenya. I am still figuring this body out.
TransSculpt is my personal record of fitness as a trans woman. I started it because I wanted to build a relationship with my body that was not limited to what I wanted to change about it.
Why I started.
Strength, feminization, and body confidence were part of the beginning. I wanted to stop treating my life as something that would start after my body was finished.
Why the project is changing.
My priorities are changing with my transition. I am moving toward running, yoga, mobility, recovery, and the strength I want to maintain. I am also making space for surgery and the time it asks of me.
That does not make the earlier chapters mistakes. It makes TransSculpt a record of a life rather than a single transformation.
What I bring to the writing.
My starting point is lived experience: what I do, what I notice, and what I am willing to examine honestly. When I use research, I want readers to see where the evidence ends and interpretation begins.
This is a personal publication, not a clinic, a coaching service, or a promise of a particular body.
What I hope the project makes possible.
More room for trans women to see physical change without a single prescribed destination. More useful language for adjusting a routine. More attention to recovery. And fewer stories that make a body valuable only after it has become something else.
Follow the work.
The journal holds the essays and notes. The Body Log connects them across time. TransSculpt Notes brings occasional new writing to your inbox.
