Body & transition

More than a shape. More than a number.

Hormones, training, food, surgery, and time all belong to the questions I bring to my body. This section holds those questions together without pretending one explanation can account for everything I notice.

Hormones, training, and unanswered questions.

I want to understand the relationship between medical transition and physical practice. Where I discuss research, I will show what population was studied, what was measured, and where applying it to my own experience requires caution.

Body composition without a single definition of progress.

I care about feminization and how my body looks. I also want to understand what measurements can tell me, what they leave out, and when comparison stops being useful.

Changes in a record do not automatically identify their cause. A personal log can raise a question without proving an answer.

Food belongs in the story.

Nutrition here is part of training, everyday life, and the space I am making for recovery. I want to write about eating without reducing every meal to discipline or every chapter to weight loss.

The body I see and the body I live in.

Body image and dysphoria are not side notes to fitness. They shape the questions I ask, the goals I choose, and how it feels to move through the world.
